Denson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management as well as his MBA in Information Technology and Finance from Auburn University. Prior to Denson’s role as CCO he served as BCO of Sales at APM Terminal’s location at the Port of Mobile, AL. Denson’s role as Chief Commercial Officer includes a focus on Supply Chain Optimization (which includes both trucking and rail), Continuous Improvement and Customer Relations. Since started with APM Terminals in 2014, Denson has quite literally traveled the world building customer relationships, significantly expanding the Port of Mobile, AL, and has already begun hosting customer events in Los Angeles with names you’ll recognize such as NFL star Cam Newton and others. Prior to his time at APM Terminals, Denson held leadership positions with companies Standard Furniture, Plan 4 Demand and Pactiv, with responsibilities that included overseeing a private truck fleet, warehouse facilities, international freight, and domestic trucking which provided him opportunities to work with Kohl’s, Tasty Cake, Snapple, Ross Clothing and Hefty to name a few. With a well-rounded understanding of the supply chain, Denson’s current role at APM Terminals allows the ability to work with the diverse array of companies that perform international trade. His deep knowledge of terminal facilities and steamship line customer relationships allows Denson the ability to understand complex logistics processes and provide solutions.
